Abstract

The visual artist, Lydia Ruyle, established “Goddess Conversations” (with her niece Katie Hoffner) and has collaborated with Reşit Ergener and Turkish Friends of Çatalhöyük to host two international conferences in Turkey: 2005 at the Ephesus Museum, and 2006 in Istanbul. Both events included journeys to Çatalhöyük to foster dialogue between the conference presenters and the archaeologists at the site.  Lydia offers here  a richly illustrated report on the 2005 visit to Çatalhöyük.
